Transactional Analysis Resource Goldmine
I just stumbled across a fantastic resource for people interested in learning and using principles from Transactional Analysis (TA). TA was developed by Eric Berne from the 1950's onwards and is an integrative model of therapy incorporating elements of psychodynamic, humanistic, and cognitive approaches. It uses an ego-state (Parent-Adult-Child) model to understand how people are structured psychologically, and explains developmentally how we come to use patterns of behaviour which might be unproductive in adulthood.
TA-Tutor.com is a website run by Lewis Quimby. It contains detailed information about the TA model, but also contains over 400 handouts related to TA that you are free to download & use. Many are useful to therapists even if you're not working within a TA model. Some examples of my favourites are on this page.
